Manchester United meet Marcos Rojo clause?

A report from Portugal claims that Manchester United are close to signing Marcos Rojo from Sporting Lisbon.

Manchester United are reportedly close to signing Marcos Rojo from Sporting Lisbon.

The Argentine defender has been linked with moves to Liverpool and Southampton this summer.

However, according to O Jogo, United have moved quickly for the full-back and have met the left-back's release clause, which is believed to be around £15m.

Various reports from Portugal have also claimed that Rojo failed to turn up to training with Sporting this morning after learning of United's interest.
