Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news and rumours, including a blow for West Ham United, while Leeds United set a £25m asking price for Wilfried Gnonto.

West Ham United have reportedly suffered a bitter blow in their pursuit of Jean-Clair Todibo, with the centre-back allegedly rejecting the chance to make the move to the Hammers.

Todibo is preparing to leave Nice this summer, and West Ham were seemingly in a strong position to secure his signature.

However, according to Football Insider, the defender has turned down the opportunity to move to the London Stadium, as he is holding out for a switch to Juventus.

The report claims that West Ham's proposed deal for the Frenchman has 'completely collapsed', and Juventus are now in pole position to secure his signature on a long-term deal.

Manchester United attempted to negotiate a deal for Todibo earlier this summer, but the Red Devils were blocked from completing a move due to the rules surrounding multi-club ownership, with INEOS chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe becoming the English team's minority shareholder earlier this year.

Leeds 'want' £25m for Gnonto this summer

Meanwhile, Leeds United are reportedly ready to sell Wilfried Gnonto this summer if their asking price is met.

There is currently a host of speculation surrounding the attacker's future, with Everton said to be in pole position to secure his signature on a long-term basis.

According to Football Insider, Leeds have signalled that they would be willing to let the 20-year-old depart this summer if they received an offer in the region of £25m.

Gnonto was heavily linked with a switch to Everton last year, but Leeds kept hold of him, and the forward scored nine goals and registered three assists in 44 outings in all competitions last term.

The youngster, who has a contract at Elland Road until the summer of 2027, has scored 12 times and registered 10 assists in 74 appearances for his current side in all competitions.

Birmingham 'enquire' over Harris deal

Elsewhere, Birmingham City have reportedly been in touch with Fulham to discuss a possible move for Luke Harris during this summer's transfer window.

The Blues are currently preparing for their 2024-25 League One campaign, and according to Football Insider, Harris is wanted by the club on loan for the new season.

Birmingham allegedly face a battle to sign the 19-year-old, though, with Fulham believed to be keen for him to play in the Championship at this stage of his career rather than League One.

Harris spent the second half of last season on loan at Exeter City in League One, scoring four times in 20 appearances for the club.

The teenager came through the youth system at Fulham, and he has represented the London club's first team on eight occasions, including four appearances in the Premier League.
