Report: Southampton line up Javier Hernandez

Southampton will reportedly make an offer for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez in the summer.

Southampton will make an offer for Manchester United's Javier Hernandez in the summer, according to reports.

The Mexican striker, currently on loan at Real Madrid, is also reportedly a target for West Ham United.

However, the Daily Mail reports that the Saints are lining up the 26-year-old, and are willing to offer Nathaniel Clyne to Manchester United for a reduced fee of £20m in order to get their man.

Clyne has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford, and that deal would make the Hernandez move more likely.

Hernandez has scored five goals for Madrid this season.
