Manchester United allegedly assure Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he will have significant funds to spend during the next transfer window.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has allegedly been assured that Manchester United will be active during the next transfer window.

While United have been strongly linked with a wide range of players, the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic means that there is a degree of uncertainty surrounding the transfer market.

The Premier League giants also announced this week that they had made significant losses as a result of football being suspended since the middle of March.

However, the Evening Standard claims that Solskjaer will be provided with a 'competitive' budget ahead of the start of next season.

The report adds that, in the circumstances, club officials are currently against setting an official figure for the Norwegian to spend on new players.

United have been heavily linked with moves for Saul Niguez, Jude Bellingham, Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho.
