AS Monaco midfielder Bernardo Silva has admitted that he would like to one day play in England, but at the moment is content with life in Ligue 1.
The 22-year-old Portugal Under-21 international, who joined the French club permanently midway through a loan deal from Benfica in 2014, has been linked to Manchester United and Barcelona.
The midfielder remains settled in Monaco, but he has admitted that he harbours hopes of moving to England or to Spain's top flight.
"For the moment, I feel very good at Monaco," ESPN quotes Silva as saying. "They're the club that has enabled me to play at this level. The ambition of players is of course to play in Spain or England one day, but for the moment, I feel very good at Monaco."
Silva has scored two goals and registered three assists in 15 league appearances this season.
