Manchester United have reportedly failed with an approach for Schalke 04 goalkeeper Alexander Nubel.
United are currently well stocked for options between the sticks, with David de Gea having recently penned a new contract and Dean Henderson considered to be future competition for the Spaniard.
However, according to Bild, the Premier League giants have expressed an interest in signing Nubel, who has less than a year left on his contract.
The report claims that the 23-year-old has turned down the opportunity to move to Old Trafford, as well as Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig.
Nubel, who has recently starred for Germany Under-21s, has allegedly rejected the chance to extend his deal at Schalke.
