Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho will reportedly hold face-to-face talks with head coach Erik ten Hag on Monday in an attempt to resolve their public falling-out.
Sancho was a notable absentee from the matchday squad that was selected against Arsenal last weekend, and Ten Hag said after his side's 3-1 defeat that the attacker was not involved due to some disappointing performances on the training ground.
The 23-year-old took to social media on Sunday evening to hit back at his manager, which has created a tense situation between the two individuals.
There has been a host of speculation surrounding Sancho's future over the last week, and it is understood that he would have been allowed to move to the Saudi Pro League before the division's deadline on Thursday.
Al Ettifaq are said to have held talks with the former Manchester City youngster over a loan switch, but the move allegedly broke down when Man United wanted to include a £50m purchase option.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are both said to be monitoring the situation with a view to making moves during the January transfer window.
According to The Telegraph, there will be showdown talks between Sancho and Ten Hag on Monday, with the two parties attempting to find a resolution.
At this stage, it is unclear whether Sancho is planning to apologise for his comments, especially as the statement is still pinned to the top of his account on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Man United will be back in Premier League action against Brighton & Hove Albion on September 16, and Ten Hag has a major decision when it comes to Sancho's involvement in the coming weeks.

Ten Hag is allegedly prepared to give Sancho another chance despite being surprised with his player's comments following the contest at the Emirates Stadium.
The attacker was unsurprisingly left out of the latest England squad, with Three Lions head coach Gareth Southgate preferring a number of other players in the final third of the field.
Sancho made a positive impression for Man United during pre-season, but he was only a substitute in the team's first three matches of the new Premier League campaign before being left out against Arsenal.
Since arriving from Dortmund in the summer of 2021, the forward has only managed 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions.
If Sancho is brought back into the set-up, there could a chance for him to secure a starting role on the right of the attack, as Antony is facing a spell out as he deals with the abuse allegations against him.
