Cristiano Ronaldo rules out summer Real Madrid exit

Portuguese talisman Cristiano Ronaldo confirms that he is not planning to leave Real Madrid until at least 2018.

Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted that he will still be a Real Madrid player at the start of next season.

The 31-year-old, who arrived at the Bernabeu from Manchester United for £80m in 2009, has continually been linked with a return to Old Trafford or Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.

However, the attacker has stressed that he is planning to remain with Los Blancos until at least 2018, when his contract in the Spanish capital is due to run out.

"I have been in Spain six years. I was also at Manchester United for six years and that was a great experience, a great championship, but for me this is the best league in the world. It's a privilege to be here," Marca quotes Ronaldo as saying.

"I want to be here for a couple more years and then we'll see. That's the duration of my contract and I want to give my all in that time."

Ronaldo has found the net 30 times from his 29 outings in all competitions this season.
