Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a £25m bid for Steven Bergwijn after sending scouts to watch the PSV Eindhoven winger.
Bergwijn has found the net nine times in 16 Eredivisie matches this season and also played a key part in his club's title success last term with a combined 15 goals and assists.
The two-cap Netherlands international has caught the eye of United chiefs, with The Sun reporting that the player - under contract at the Philips Stadion until 2022 - was watched up close in October.
United will have another look at the 21-year-old on Sunday when PSV resume their campaign with a trip to Emmen, while scouts from Liverpool may also be in attendance.
The Dutch champions are not looking to cash in on Bergwijn, however, having already rejected bids from Torino and Bordeaux last summer.
