Seattle Sounders are reportedly interested in bringing Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes to the MLS this summer.
Valdes only signed for United on a permanent deal in January, but his career at Old Trafford now looks to be over following a high-profile falling-out with head coach Louis van Gaal.
A number of clubs have been linked with the former Barcelona stopper, but according to Mundo Deportivo, Seattle Sounders currently lead the race.
The same report has claimed that a conversation between the two clubs took place during United's time in Seattle on their pre-season tour.
Valdes, who had also been linked with a move to Valencia before their acquisition of Mathew Ryan, is contracted to United until next summer, but is unlikely to play for the club again.
