Manchester United manager David Moyes is interested in Freiburg defender Matthias Ginter, according to a report.

The Mirror claims that the Scot was in Germany on Friday to watch the 20-year-old centre-back in action during his side's goalless away draw with Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga.

Ginter is rated as one of the best young central defenders in Germany and is said to be valued at £10m by his club.

Arsenal and Bayern Munich are also reported to be interested in the Germany Under-21 international, whose current contract with Freiburg runs until June 2017.
