Manchester United could launch a £30m bid for Fiorentina star Juan Cuadrado next week, reports suggest.
United have already made contact with La Viola to assure the Italians that their interest in the Colombian is genuine, according to The Express.
Louis van Gaal has made it clear that he may take as long as four weeks to assess his current squad, but he is believed to be right behind United's interest in the Colombian.
However, the Dutchman faces a battle in convincing Cuadrado that his future lies at Old Trafford, after the 26-year-old stated that the Premier League would not suit his style of play.
Barcelona and Bayern Munich are both also said to be interested in the winger, with Barcelona reportedly in the driver's seat and haggling over a fee for the player.
