Manchester United have reportedly agreed a fee to sign Regan Poole from League Two side Newport County.
The 17-year-old has had trials with United and Liverpool over the summer, while Hull City and Brighton & Hove Albion have also been linked with the Wales youth international.
According to BBC Sport, the defender will travel to Carrington this lunchtime after United offered the Welsh club £100,000 for the teenager, which could rise to £400,000.
Poole has already made five appearances for Newport so far this season.
