Real Madrid prepare record bid for David de Gea?

Real Madrid will reportedly offer Manchester United a record £50m for goalkeeper David de Gea.

Real Madrid will make a record offer for a goalkeeper to sign David de Gea from Manchester United, according to reports.

The European champions have been linked with the Spanish keeper for some time, with some reports claiming that the La Liga side will be offered De Gea and £50m in exchange for Gareth Bale.

However, the Daily Star claims that it is Real who are preparing to shell out £50m in a bid to bring De Gea to the Bernabeu, which would make him the most expensive goalkeeper ever.

Juventus paid a world-record £33m to sign Gianluigi Buffon from Parma in 2001.
