Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has reportedly told goalkeeper Dean Henderson that he will remain at Old Trafford this season.
During the summer, Henderson penned a new five-year contract, the assumption being that the England international would be given regular game time in competition with David de Gea.
However, while coronavirus delayed his start to the campaign, the 24-year-old has only been provided with two starts, one coming in the EFL Cup and the other being in a dead-rubber Champions League fixture.
Several reports have suggested that Henderson is eager to move elsewhere at a time when the likes of Tottenham Hotspur are known to be monitoring the situation.
Nevertheless, the Manchester Evening News claims that Rangnick has already informed his second-choice stopper that he will be remaining in the North-West.
The report adds that Henderson is unlikely to accept the situation as he looks for senior action in his bid to earn a spot in England's World Cup squad next year.
