Porto coach Vitor Pereira reveals that the club are keen to keep hold of midfielder Joao Moutinho.

Porto coach Vitor Pereira has insisted that the club are hoping to keep hold of Joao Moutinho this summer.

The Portuguese midfielder has been widely tipped to leave his current employers this summer, with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United said to be interested in his services.

However, Pereira has warned any potential suitors that the 25-year-old will only be allowed to leave if his release clause is met.

"We very much want him to stay and we are not looking to sell," Pereira told Abola. "But this is football and you have termination clauses, for us he has been great and helped us achieve the results we have."

Moutinho's clause is believed to be in the region £30m.
