Ivan Perisic has reportedly edged closer to signing a new contract at Inter Milan.
Manchester United have been eyeing a move for the Croatian for some time, but they have so far been unsuccessful in persuading the Nerazzurri to sell.
Inter were believed to be holding out for £48m and an agreement was thought to be getting close in July, with Inter reportedly enquiring about the possibility of taking Anthony Martial as part of the deal.
However, Sky Sports News has claimed that Perisic has now opted to remain at San Siro and will soon pen a new deal with the Serie A giants.
Perisic has been playing in Italy since the summer of 2015, scoring 18 goals in 70 league games since joining Inter from Wolfsburg.
