Villarreal centre-back Pau Torres is reportedly interested in moving to Manchester United this summer.
The 24-year-old has again been in impressive form for his Spanish club during the 2020-21 campaign, and it is thought that a number of teams are keeping a close eye on his development.
Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City have all previously been credited with an interest, while Man United are said to be considering the Spain international as a long-term partner for Harry Maguire.
Torres recently revealed that he is taking English lessons amid suggestions that he could move to the Premier League during this summer's transfer window.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the centre-back is open to the idea of joining the 20-time English champions in the upcoming market.
The report, though, claims that Torres wants to concentrate on making the Spain squad for this summer's European Championships and any move is therefore unlikely to take place until late in the window.
The defender has a €60m (£51.4m) release clause in his current deal with the Yellow Submarine.
