Newcastle United have reportedly offered Paulo Dybala a lucrative contract to move to St James' Park on a free transfer at the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
The 28-year-old has been an important player for Juventus during the current season, scoring 14 times and registering six assists in 34 appearances in all competitions.
Dybala's contract in Turin is due to expire at the end of June, though, and he is widely expected to leave the Old Lady in search of pastures new.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are all allegedly interested in signing the Argentina international, while Newcastle have also been credited with an interest, with the Magpies now possessing the finances required to sign him due to their recent takeover.
According to Football Insider, Eddie Howe's side have made Dybala a 'blockbuster offer' to move to the Premier League outfit on a free transfer this summer.
The report claims that the contract would be worth in excess of £200,000 a week, which would comfortably make the South American the club's best-paid player of all time.
Dybala has scored 114 goals and registered 48 assists in 288 outings for the Old Lady in all competitions.
