Mourinho: 'No chance of Fellaini exit'

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho insists that there is "no chance" of Marouane Fellaini leaving the club this summer amid reported interest from Galatasaray.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has ruled out the possibility of Marouane Fellaini leaving the club this summer.

The Red Devils activated a one-year extension clause in Fellaini's contract earlier this year to keep him at the club until the end of next season, but Galatasaray yesterday confirmed that they are in talks with the Belgian over a possible move.

However, after watching Fellaini score the opening goal during this evening's 3-0 pre-season friendly win over Valerenga, Mourinho stressed that there is "no chance" the player will leave Old Trafford.

"It's easier for Galatasaray to get me than Marouane. He is too important to me. No chance," he told reporters.

Fellaini's future has been called into question due to United's interest in Nemanja Matic, who is understood to be on the verge of completing a move to the club from Chelsea.
