Jose Mourinho plotting summer move for Raphael Varane, Toni Kroos?

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho could be plotting a summer move for Real Madrid duo Raphael Varane and Toni Kroos, according to a report.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing a move to bring Real Madrid duo Raphael Varane and Toni Kroos to Old Trafford.

The United boss worked with the pair during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, and it is thought that the Portuguese coach wants to seal a move for the pair in order to improve his squad during the summer.

According to Don Balon, Mourinho wants Varane to come and prove himself in the Premier League after originally giving the Frenchman his debut at Madrid.

As for Kroos, it has been reported that the 27-year-old is thought to be unsettled in the Spanish capital despite only recently signing a new contract with the club.

United currently hold sixth spot in the league standings and now find themselves in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
