Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly touched base with Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane over a possible summer transfer.
With Spurs facing the prospect of a 13th consecutive season without silverware, as well as a year outside of the Champions League, Kane has supposedly informed the club of his desire to leave if they do not qualify for Europe's elite competition.
The 27-year-old is thought to be wanted by both Manchester United and Manchester City ahead of the reopening of the transfer window, but with his Spurs deal set to run until 2024, the Lilywhites can realistically demand a nine-figure sum for the England captain.
Financial powerhouses PSG would likely be able to fork out such money, and French outlet TF1 claims that Pochettino has contacted his former striker to gauge his interest in a move to the Parc des Princes.
However, the report adds that any bids for Kane would hinge on whether Kylian Mbappe leaves the club or not, with the World Cup-winning Frenchman yet to extend his deal beyond 2022 and supposedly on the radar of Real Madrid and Liverpool.
Kane has scored 29 goals and set up 16 more across all competitions for Jose Mourinho's side this season, with his 19 Premier League strikes seeing him sit atop the goalscoring charts alongside Mohamed Salah.
