Everton boss Roberto Martinez: 'No Manchester United contact'

Everton manager Roberto Martinez insists that there are no new developments on Manchester United's chase for Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that there have been no fresh approaches from Manchester United for any of his players.

The Premier League champions had a joint £28m bid for Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines rejected by the club, but reports have claimed that United manager David Moyes could return for Fellaini alone.

"No, there's been no other news," Martinez told the club's official website. "I know there's going to be talk about the transfer window but that's not what we're focusing on now when we've got an important game in front of us."

The Toffees are due to take on Stevenage in the second round of the League Cup this evening.
