Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on Joao Felix's situation at Atletico Madrid, with the Red Devils believed to be weighing up a move.
The Portugal international is widely expected to leave Wanda Metropolitano before the end of the transfer window, with his relationship with Atletico head coach Diego Simeone said to be beyond repair.
Barcelona continue to be heavily linked with the forward, who recently expressed a desire to make the move to Camp Nou.
However, it is understood that Atletico are against Felix moving to a domestic rival, with a switch to Xavi's side therefore being blocked.
There is said to be huge Saudi Arabian interest in Felix, but according to La Sexta, a move to Man United before the end of the summer window cannot be ruled out.

The report claims that Atletico are considering all of their options at this stage of the market, and there is a possibility that the attacker's contract could be terminated.
Man United are said to be keeping a close eye on the situation and would be ready to move for Felix over the next couple of weeks if he was granted a free transfer.
The Red Devils have boosted their attack with the signing of Rasmus Hojlund this summer, with the Denmark international arriving from Atalanta BC.
However, Erik ten Hag's side are still short of options in the final third of the field, with the club ideally wanting to sign another forward before the September deadline.

Felix was heavily linked with a move to Man United in January, but it was Chelsea that secured his signature on loan for the second half of the 2022-23 campaign.
The 23-year-old only managed four goals in 20 appearances during his time at Chelsea, with the Blues turning down the chance to sign him on a permanent basis.
Felix, who was not involved in Atletico's opening match of the 2023-24 La Liga season against Granada, moved to Wanda Metropolitano in a big-money deal from Benfica in the summer of 2019.
The forward has scored 34 goals in 131 appearances for Atletico in all competitions, including four goals in the first half of last season before being allowed to leave on loan.
Anthony Martial remains a forward option for Man United, but the Frenchman is still being linked with a potential move away from the club before the end of the transfer window.
