Manchester United are reportedly at the head of the queue to sign Tottenham Hotspur centre-forward Harry Kane during this summer's transfer window.

Manchester United are reportedly the 'favourites' to sign Tottenham Hotspur centre-forward Harry Kane during this summer's transfer window.

The England captain was denied a big-money move to Manchester City last summer, with the Citizens refusing to meet Tottenham's asking price, believed to be in the region of £160m.

Pep Guardiola's side have now allegedly turned their attention to Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland, with the Norway international available for £63m this summer.

According to Bild, Man United are the outright 'favourites' to sign Kane ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, with the Red Devils said to be planning to spend big in the upcoming market.

The 28-year-old would allegedly be open to a reunion with Mauricio Pochettino at Old Trafford should the Paris Saint-Germain manager replace Ralf Rangnick at the helm this summer.

Kane, who has little over two years left to run on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, has scored 17 goals and registered three assists in 35 appearances at club level this term.

Man United are set to lose Edinson Cavani on a free transfer this summer, while there remains widespread speculation surrounding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez has also been linked with a switch to the 20-time English champions, although the Argentine's agent recently played down talk of an exit.
