Manchester United have reportedly identified Norwich City defender Ben Godfrey as a potential summer signing.
United have been linked with a number of high-profile defenders in recent months, and the club are expected to strengthen in that area before the start of next season.
However, according to The Sun, the North-West giants have taken an interest in Englishman Godfrey after his performances in the Championship.
The 21-year-old has made a total of 23 appearances at the second tier during the current campaign, and the centre-back's displays have helped the Canaries sit top of the standings.
Norwich are keen to keep the player at Carrow Road, but it has been suggested that United are ready to tempt the East Anglian club into a sale with an offer of £10m.
Godfrey still has over three years remaining on his contract.
