Manchester United have reportedly identified Toni Kroos as an ideal option to replace Paul Pogba this summer.
Pogba's future at Old Trafford has been cast into doubt following reports of a fallout with manager Jose Mourinho, who has left the £89m man out of his last three starting lineups.
The Mirror claims that Mourinho is planning a significant overhaul of his squad this summer, and that Pogba could be one of the players to leave after the manager was left unhappy with his attitude.
Real Madrid midfielder Kroos has been touted as a possible replacement should Pogba leave the club, while Paris Saint-Germain's Marco Verratti has also been linked with a move.
Pogba has made just 26 appearances for United across all competitions this season, whereas Kroos has scored four goals and registered six assists in 28 outings for Madrid.
