Manchester United reportedly hope to resolve the future of goalkeeper Dean Henderson within the next two weeks.
Having starred during a loan spell at Sheffield United this season, Henderson is keen to continue playing first-team football during the next campaign.
However, as it stands, it remains unclear whether United intend to keep faith with long-term number one David de Gea after an inconsistent run of form.
According to Sky Sports News, United are currently pushing to agree a new long-term contract with Henderson, which would include a substantial pay rise.
Despite no agreement being reached with the relevant parties, discussions are said to be ongoing at a time when the 23-year-old is attracting attention from elsewhere.
Chelsea are said to be contemplating a big-money approach for the stopper, who effectively has three years left on his existing deal.
