Atletico Madrid playmaker Joao Felix has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Manchester United.
Despite interest from the Premier League giants last summer, Felix opted to move to Wanda Metropolitano, where he has contributed six goals and two assists from 25 outings in La Liga and the Champions League.
However, according to Le 10 Sport, United are contemplating whether to hand the Portugal international another opportunity to make the switch to the Premier League.
The report claims that the 20-year-old has been identified as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, who has been heavily linked with United in recent weeks.
Although it was suggested at the weekend that Sancho was on the brink of signing for United, the English giants are said to want to have a backup in mind in the event that negotiations break down.
While Sancho is likely to cost in the region of £100m, Atletico may demand a bigger fee for Felix having paid £113m for his signature less than 12 months ago.
