Manchester United reportedly have no plans to enter the market for a new left-back during the next transfer window.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly happy with his options at left-back, leaving the Norwegian to focus on other targets during the next transfer window.

With United having work to do in order to become Premier League title challengers, it has previously been claimed that a replacement for Luke Shaw would be signed at the earliest opportunity.

However, according to The Sun, Solskjaer is prepared to promote academy graduate Brandon Williams to first choice in that position.

During his first senior campaign at Old Trafford, the 19-year-old has made 19 starts and seven substitute outings in all competitions.

Williams has allegedly been told that a new left-back will not be signed - an indication that Shaw will also remain at the Premier League giants.

While predominantly regarded as a full-back, Shaw has also been used on the left-hand side of a back three this season.
