Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has emerged as a shock transfer target for Manchester United, according to reports.
The 26-year-old has been told that he has no immediate future with Jurgen Klopp's side and is searching for regular football with a new club.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Balotelli has been offered to the Red Devils by Mino Raiola, the player's agent.
It has been claimed that Raiola, who brokered the record-breaking arrival of Paul Pogba at Old Trafford this summer, is hoping to convince Mourinho to reunite with the striker he managed at Inter Milan.
Balotelli has scored just one Premier League goal for Liverpool since his arrival in 2014 and managed the same tally during his season-long loan at AC Milan last term.
