Manchester United have reportedly been tracking Argentina Under-23 international Julio Soler, with an eye toward a potential future transfer.
The Red Devils had a busy summer, with INEOS making significant moves to strengthen the squad following their recent takeover.
United brought in the likes of Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkzee and Manuel Ugarte, and while there were rumours that they were eyeing up a move for Ben Chilwell, nothing materialised.
As a result, Erik ten Hag's side have been operating without a recognised left-back this season, with both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia sidelined since the start of preseason.
Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies and former United academy graduate Alvaro Fernandez are among the players that have been linked with a move to Old Trafford recently, but the Red Devils may now have found a potential long-term solution to their left-back problem.

Man United eyeing up move for Julio Soler
According to TBR Football, Man United have added Soler to their list of full-back targets and are currently monitoring him for a potential future transfer.
At just 19, the Lanus sensation has already earned a call-up to the senior Argentina squad and represented his country at the 2024 Paris Olympics during the summer.
The report adds that Soler's talent has not gone unnoticed, with several European clubs, including Liverpool, showing interest in him in recent months.
The Argentine teenager is widely regarded as a "pure talent" and his deal with his current employer runs until the summer of 2026.
Ten Hag has had to deploy Diogo Dalot, naturally a right-back, on the left side for most matches this season, while new signing Noussair Mazraoui has also filled in when needed.

Man United to prioritise new left-back signing
Man United have made a very poor start to the Premier League this season, and while they did splash the cash during the summer on new signings, most fans agree that the Red Devils need to prioritise a left-back in January.
Shaw has been plagued by injuries over the past 12 to 18 months, and missed most of last season, while he is yet to make an appearance for the club in this campaign.
Malacia has not played a competitive fixture for United since May 2023 due to a serious knee injury, and while he is reportedly making positive strides in his recovery, he is unlikely to be fully match fit in the near future.
During training sessions at Carrington, the Dutchman has been actively engaging in warm-up exercises and the club's medics are optimistic that the agility required in these drills will accelerate his rehabilitation.
