Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly among a number of clubs in the race to sign midfielder Yusuf Yazici.
The 27-year-old is currently a free agent after his contract with Ligue 1 outfit Lille expired at the end of June.
Yazici, who turned down the chance to extend his contract with Lille, spent five years with the French club and contributed with 29 goals and 15 assists in 135 appearances across all competitions.
The versatile midfielder established himself as a key first-team player for Lille last season, scoring 12 goals and providing four assists in 42 games, helping Les Dogues finish fourth in Ligue 1 and qualify for the Champions League.
Yazici is also a 45-cap Turkey international and was part of the squad that surprised many at Euro 2024 by reaching the quarter-finals.

Man United, Spurs to swoop for Yazici?
Although the summer transfer window has now closed for the vast majority of European leagues, teams are able to recruit players who are currently without a club.
According to Football Insider, Man United and Tottenham have both been offered the chance to sign Yazici for free.
There is said to be plenty of interest in the midfielder's services, with fellow Premier League clubs Newcastle United and Aston Villa also monitoring his situation.
While a move to the English top flight would presumably appeal to Yazici, it is understood that Turkish giants Galatasaray are currently leading the race for his signature.

Do Man United, Spurs need a new midfielder?
Man United made five first-team signings over the summer, including the £51m addition of Manuel Ugarte who was their primary midfield target throughout the window and eventually arrived on deadline day.
After allowing Scott McTominay, Sofyan Amrabat, Donny van de Beek and Hannibal Mejbri to leave the club while also dealing with Mason Mount's injury troubles, the Red Devils have been tipped to move for another midfielder, with Yazici emerging as a cheap target.
Erik ten Hag's side have also been chasing another free agent in Adrien Rabiot, but he has allegedly agreed to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr after leaving Juventus.
Tottenham, meanwhile, were allegedly prioritising the addition of a new midfielder in the final weeks of the summer transfer window, but they were ultimately unable to get a deal over the line after allowing Giovani Lo Celso to join Real Betis.
However, Betis president Angel Haro has revealed that Spurs have an option to sign midfielder Johnny Cardoso for around £21m next year.
