Manchester United told Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar is not for sale

Inter Milan boss Luciano Spalletti says that reported Manchester United target Milan Skriniar is "out of everybody's price range".

Inter Milan boss Luciano Spalletti has suggested that defender Milan Skriniar will be staying at San Siro.

Skriniar moved to Inter before the start of the 2017-18 campaign, and the Slovakia international has developed into one of the best centre-backs in Europe.

The 23-year-old's form has led to interest from a number of top clubs - including Manchester United - but Spalletti has ruled out a move for one of his key men.

Spalletti told reporters: "Skriniar is staying here, he is out of everybody's price range. Nobody can afford him."

Inter remain in a strong position regarding Skriniar's future, with three-and-a-half years still left on the player's contract.
