Manchester United are reportedly considering offering Marcus Rashford to Barcelona as part of a deal for Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
Incoming Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag has allegedly identified De Jong as a leading target during this summer's transfer window.
Barcelona boss Xavi recently said that he was desperate to keep hold of the Netherlands international, but the Catalan giants are believed to be open to offers for him during this summer's transfer window.
Rashford, meanwhile, continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford, having struggled to make his mark for the club during the 2021-22 campaign.
Barcelona are said to be admirers of the England international, who has only managed five goals and two assists in 31 appearances at club level this season.
According to Fichajes, Man United could use Rashford as a makeweight in a bid for De Jong, while Alex Telles may also be offered to the La Liga giants in a possible exchange.
Ten Hag, who will officially take charge of the 20-time English champions at the end of the season, will allegedly hold a Zoom meeting with every Man United player, including Rashford, over the next three weeks, and the forward's plans for the summer are likely to be discussed.
