Manchester United are reportedly planning to keep Amad Diallo at the club for the remainder of the season amid suggestions that he is wanted on loan by Leicester City and Sunderland.
The 21-year-old is yet to feature for the Red Devils this term due to a knee injury which he suffered during the team's preparations for the 2023-24 campaign.
Amad is now back in first-team training, though, with the forward closing in on a return to action.
According to Football Insider, Man United want to keep hold of the Ivory Coast international, with head coach Erik ten Hag believing that the forward is capable of making a difference for the club this season.
Amad could allegedly take Jadon Sancho's spot in the squad, with the latter set to leave the club during the January transfer window following his falling-out with Ten Hag.

Leicester and Sunderland are both said to be keeping a close eye on the developments, with the pair said to be planning January loan moves for the attacker if he struggles to secure regular action in the coming weeks.
There is also believed to be Premier League interest in the Ivorian, while a number of European clubs are also said to be keeping a close eye on his situation.
Amad made the move to Man United from Atalanta in January 2021, and he has represented the 20-time English champions on nine occasions, scoring once and registering one assist in the process.
Eight of his appearances for the Red Devils came in the second half of the 2020-21 campaign, and he has since been on loan at both Rangers and Sunderland.

Amad was in excellent form for Sunderland last season, scoring 14 goals and registering four assists in 42 appearances in all competitions.
The Black Cats are currently sixth in the Championship table, but they are only one point clear of seventh-placed Preston North End on the same number of matches (21).
Leicester are second in the division, eight points clear of third-placed Leeds United with a game in hand, but the Foxes are said to be targeting attacking reinforcements in January.
Amad is again set to be absent for Man United's trip to Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, although he could potentially be available over the festive period.
The Red Devils are facing being without 11 players for the clash with Liverpool, while Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford remain doubts due to illness.
