Manchester United are reportedly in advanced talks with Watford youngster Harry Amass over a move to Old Trafford, with the Red Devils set to beat Chelsea to his signature.
The 16-year-old has not made his first-team debut for the Hornets, but he was on the bench against Reading in the FA Cup in January.
There has been a host of speculation surrounding the left-back's future, with Chelsea heavily linked with his services over the last few months.
According to the Evening Standard, the Blues have lost out to Man United in the race for Amass, who is in advanced discussions with Erik ten Hag's side.

The report claims that Amass is close to being involved for the team at Watford, but he believes that moving to a top-class academy would allow him to further his development.
Man United also recently completed the signing of Gabriele Biancheri from Cardiff City.
The 16-year-old is another player to be linked with a number of clubs before the 20-time English champions won the race to bring him to Old Trafford on a four-year contract.
Biancheri is set to sign a professional contract with Man United when he turns 17 in September, and the forward has been tipped as a potential first-team player for the club in the future.

At first-team level, the 20-time English champions are preparing for a busy transfer window, although the amount of money the club have to spend is unclear due to their ownership situation.
The Glazers are currently in discussions over a potential sale of the club, with Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe seen as the favourites to complete a takeover.
Meanwhile, Elliott Management have allegedly made a bid to purchase a minority stake in the club.
Ten Hag's side will be in the market for a new centre-forward during this summer's transfer window, with Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane and Napoli's Victor Osimhen linked with moves to the club.
Meanwhile, a centre-back and a central midfielder could also arrive ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
