Manchester United will reportedly hold transfer talks over a possible deal for Cody Gakpo 'in the coming days'.
The 23-year-old has been in excellent form for the Netherlands at the 2022 World Cup, scoring three times in four appearances, to help Louis van Gaal's side reach the quarter-finals of the competition.
Gakpo has also starred for PSV Eindhoven this term, scoring 13 goals and registering 17 assists in 24 appearances in all competitions.
Man United were heavily linked with the attacker over the summer, but the club ultimately prioritised a deal for Antony, bringing in the Brazil international from Ajax.
The 20-time English champions are expected to be in the market for a new forward in January, having allowed Cristiano Ronaldo to leave the club on a free transfer.

According to the Daily Mail, Man United will hold talks over a deal for Gakpo 'in the coming days', as they weigh up a move for the Dutchman in 2023.
No decisions on the forward's future will be made until after the World Cup, with Holland currently preparing for their quarter-final against Argentina.
However, Gakpo has revealed that he would consider a move to Old Trafford, should the 20-time English champions make an offer for his services.
"[The summer transfer window] was a tough period. I learned from that. I'm going to do it differently. What comes, that comes," Gakpo told NRC.
"Suppose you want to go from RKC [Waalwijk] to PSV, but that club is not coming. Then you can panic. I thought about Manchester United, but when that didn't happen, I couldn't remember. And I started to doubt. Leeds United did come. Should I go there?

"Now I wait everything. I haven't heard from Manchester United yet. When they come, I'll think about it. I also seek the help of God in these decisions."
Gakpo has scored 55 goals and registered 50 assists in 159 appearances for PSV in all competitions.
The forward has a contract with the Dutch giants until June 2026, but it is understood that they would be willing to sell him for £50m during the summer transfer window.
Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest in the Dutchman, but the Red Devils are seemingly in pole position to secure his signature next year.
