Manchester United are reportedly considering a January bid for AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek.
The summer exits of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez have left United seriously short of firepower in the final third, with Marcus Rashford struggling to carry the goalscoring burden.
The Red Devils are widely expected to move for a new striker in the January transfer window, and according to Calciomercato, the club are eyeing a £35m swoop for Piatek.
The 24-year-old scored 19 times in 21 appearances for Genoa in the first half of the 2018-19 campaign before securing a move to Milan, where he has netted 13 goals in 28 outings in all competitions.
Piatek, who has also managed four goals in eight caps for Poland, has a contract at San Siro until the summer of 2023.
United have also been linked with approaches for Lyon striker Moussa Dembele and experienced Juventus frontman Mario Mandzukic as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to improve his options at the mid-point of the season.
