Manchester United confirm the signing of Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic on their official Twitter page.

Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Following weeks of speculation, the 34-year-old announced on Thursday afternoon that he had agreed a deal with the 20-time English champions after leaving Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.

The experienced forward underwent a medical at the club's training complex on Friday afternoon and has now signed a contract with the Red Devils, believed to be a one-year deal.

Ibrahimovic, who is expected to earn in excess of £200,000 a week, moves to Man United having won league titles in Sweden, Netherlands, Italy, Spain and France.
