Manchester United confirm Federico Macheda return to Doncaster Rovers

Manchester United confirm that Federico Macheda has re-joined Doncaster Rovers on loan until December 31.

Manchester United have announced that striker Federico Macheda has joined Doncaster Rovers for a second loan spell.

The Championship outfit's manager Paul Dickov recently claimed that he was keen on a return for Macheda, whose initial loan in September was cut short due to injury.

The Premier League champions posted on their official Twitter account that the Italian will remain at the Keepmoat Stadium until December 31.

Macheda netted three goals in five appearances for Doncaster during his first loan stint.
