Liverpool could reportedly attempt to bring Brighton & Hove Albion centre-back Ben White to Anfield during next summer's transfer window.
The 22-year-old excelled during a loan spell at Leeds United last season, and a number of clubs are believed to have expressed an interest in signing him in the current market.
Brighton announced earlier this week that White has penned a new four-year deal at the Amex Stadium, ending the speculation surrounding his future this summer.
However, according to the Liverpool Echo, Jurgen Klopp's side will monitor the centre-back's form during the 2020-21 campaign with the view to potentially making an offer next year.
The report claims that Brighton turned down offers of as much as £30m for the Englishman in the current market, although it is unclear which sides officially submitted bids.
Manchester United and Chelsea have also previously been credited with an interest.
