Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig and Stuttgart are interested in signing Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho in January, according to a report.

Bundesliga trio Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig and Stuttgart are all reportedly interested in signing Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho during the January transfer window.

The England international has not featured for the Red Devils since the end of August due to his falling-out with head coach Erik ten Hag, which stemmed from the attacker being left out of the squad for the clash with Arsenal at the start of September.

Ten Hag said that poor performances on the training ground led to Sancho being omitted, but the player had a different version of events, claiming that he had been made "a scapegoat" in a post on social media.

The 23-year-old has been removed entirely from the first-team picture at Old Trafford, and he is set to leave when the winter market opens for business.

Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Barcelona are among a number of clubs to be linked with the ex-Manchester City youngster over the last few weeks.

However, according to 90min, the strongest interest at this moment in time is coming from Bundesliga teams Leverkusen, Leipzig and Stuttgart.

The report claims that all three German clubs are currently exploring a deal, but it is currently unclear whether Man United are prepared to let him leave on loan.

The club would ideally like a permanent exit for Sancho in January, with all parties keen to move on from what has been an unwelcome distraction this season.

However, the complexities surrounding mid-season moves makes it incredibly complicated, especially as Man United are said to be unwilling to let him leave for a cut-price fee.

As a result, a loan exit is seen as the most likely outcome, allowing the situation to be revised next summer, but the English club allegedly want a chunk of his salary covered.

Ten Hag's side would also reportedly be keen to include a purchase clause at the end of the campaign.

Sancho is said to still favour a return to Dortmund, but BVB are thought to have concerns over the Englishman's fitness, as he is not currently training with the first team at Old Trafford nor playing in matches.

The forward has found it difficult to make his mark for Man United since arriving from Dortmund in the summer of 2021, only managing 12 goals and registering six assists in 82 appearances.

However, he starred during his time at BVB, managing 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 appearances, including 38 goals and 51 assists in 104 Bundesliga outings.
