Kylian Mbappe told France teammate Paul Pogba that he is "a little fed up" when the two players arrived for international duty on Monday.
The attacker's contract with Paris Saint-Germain is due to expire at the end of June, and he continues to be strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid on a free transfer.
Mbappe has scored 26 goals and registered 17 assists in 37 appearances for his French club this season, but he could not prevent them from being knocked out of the Champions League in the round of 16 despite scoring in both legs against Real Madrid.
The 23-year-old was overheard telling Manchester United midfielder Pogba that he was "a little fed up" when the two players embraced on international duty, as captured by FFF TV.
Mbappe has scored 158 goals and registered 78 assists in 208 appearances for PSG in all competitions but is unlikely to extend his contract with Mauricio Pochettino's side.
Pogba, meanwhile, is out of contract at Man United this summer, and the midfielder has suggested that he will look to leave the 20-time English champions on a free transfer.
Juventus and Barcelona are believed to lead the race to sign the World Cup winner this summer.
