Burnley have confirmed the signing of Manchester United defender Michael Keane on a permanent deal.
The 21-year-old linked up with the Clarets on loan during the summer, with boss Sean Dyche making clear his intentions to sign the centre-back on a full-time basis.
A transfer fee has now been agreed by the two clubs, and Keane has penned a three-and-a-half-year contract at Turf Moor.
Speaking to the club's official website, Dyche said: "Michael is a good young player and we see a lot of development in him as he's on a good pathway at the moment and we're delighted that he has decided to join us."
Keane, who has previously represented England at both Under-21s and Under-19s levels, has made 11 appearances for Burnley this season.
Having come through United's ranks as a youngster, he has in the past enjoyed spells at Derby County, Leicester City and Blackburn Rovers.
