Juventus chief Fabio Paratici says that it would be unfair to comment on Paul Pogba's future, amid reports that the Italian club were keen to sign him in the summer.

Juventus chief Fabio Paratici has refused to comment on suggestions that his side attempted to land Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba during the summer transfer window.

The France international's time at Old Trafford appears to be coming to an end following another high-profile falling out with manager Jose Mourinho this week.

Pogba criticised Mourinho's tactics following the 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers, only to then be stripped of the vice-captaincy in front his teammates, leading to an awkward exchange in front of the TV cameras in training on Tuesday.

Juventus were one of three sides to be tipped with making a move for the 25-year-old during the summer, along with Barcelona and Real Madrid, and it was claimed on Wednesday that the Italian giants even enquired about a move after bringing in Cristiano Ronaldo for £99m.

Paratici was asked about the ongoing speculation on Thursday, but he was unwilling to give anything away.

"He is a Manchester United player," he is quoted as saying by Metro. "As long as he remains a Manchester United player, it's best that I don't talk about players at other clubs."

Pogba has started seven of Man United's eight fixtures in all competitions this season, with the midweek EFL Cup defeat to Derby County the first match that he has sat out.
