Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen has denied that he has a verbal agreement with Louis van Gaal that will see him join Manchester United.
The Dutch number one has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford as David de Gea's future remains in doubt.
Reports have suggested that United have a deal in place with Ajax and Cillessen should De Gea leave, but the 26-year-old has refuted these claims.
He told Dutch paper Het Parool: "I've read that this weekend I have spoken with Van Gaal. But the last time I did was during the Sports Gala late last year. Also, my management has not heard from United."
Cillessen played under Van Gaal at the World Cup last year.
