Galatasaray will table a £5m bid for Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov, according to reports.

Galatasaray have lined up a £5m bid for Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov, according to reports.

The 31-year-old looks set to leave the Red Devils this summer after being deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.

A number of clubs across Europe have been linked with the Bulgarian, including AC Milan, Lazio, Malaga, Zenit St Petersburg and Paris Saint-Germain.

However, The Sun understand that the Turkish club are now ready to open the bidding.

Berbatov scored 48 goals in 108 games for United since his £30m transfer from Tottenham Hotspur in 2008.
