Five youngsters facing Manchester United summer exits

Tyler Blackett, Andreas Pereira, Tom Thorpe, Reece James and Will Keane will all reportedly be released by Manchester United in the summer.

Tyler Blackett and Andreas Pereira are among five youngsters that will reportedly leave Manchester United on free transfers during the summer.

Centre-back Blackett has made 10 appearances for the senior side this term, but with his contract due to expire in June, manager Louis van Gaal is not believed to view the 20-year-old as part of his plans going forward.

In contrast, Pereira is rated highly by the coaching staff at Old Trafford, but the playmaker has been linked with moves to Juventus and clubs in Holland and he is expected to move on, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Fellow academy graduates Reece James, Will Keane and Tom Thorpe are also thought to be on the release list.
