Fenerbahce 'eye £20m move for Juan Mata'

Fenerbahce are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United's £20m-rated midfielder Juan Mata this summer.

Fenerbahce have reportedly reignited their interest in signing Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata.

The Spaniard's future at Old Trafford has been called into question following the appointment of Jose Mourinho as manager, with the Portuguese boss having sold Mata to United during his time in charge of Chelsea.

Mata appeared to react angrily to Mourinho's decision to take him off after just 30 minutes of action during Sunday's Community Shield, a decision Mourinho later attributed to Mata's height.

Everton have been linked with a move for the World Cup winner, but Turkish newspaper Milliyet claims that Fenerbahce are also interested in the £20m-rated playmaker.

The Turkish outfit are looking to replace Nani in their attack, and see the 28-year-old as a possible candidate should he be unhappy at United.
